The Beatles Show in the New Theatre

This show just might resolve the Lennon vs McCartney debate...

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 24 Aug 2012

The Beatles Show is a very special show to mark the 50th anniversary of the first single from The Beatles ‘Love Me Do’ which was released in October 1962.

This show is a mixture of short plays and the music of The Beatles performed live by Vyvienne Long and The Newspaper Taxi Men. Written by Stephen Kennedy the performance includes a 'documentary play' of John Lennon's last day, cellist Vyienne Long's interpretations of some Beatles' tunes and Lennon vs McCartney which is a short play that definitively sorts out the argument once and for all. Well… sort of…!

The show takes place in The New Theatre in Temple Bar from October 15 - 20. Tickets for this show are €15 each (€12.50 conc). And are on sale at www.thenewtheatre.com.
