The Hot Press Newsdesk, 23 Apr 2012

The eagerly awaited Terri Hooley biopic, Good Vibrations, is to receive its Irish premiere in the Ulster Hall on May 31 as part of the Belfast Film Festival.

Co-directed by Lisa Barros D’Sa and Glenn Leyburn of Cherrybomb fame, the film was scripted by Hot Press-er Colin Carberry and author Glen Patterson, features Five Minutes Of Heaven and A Mighty Celt man Richard Dormer as Hooley, is produced by David Holmes and has Gary, Jonny and Nathan from Snow Patrol as associate producers.

For the young whippersnappers among you, Good Vibrations is the name of the shop Terri opened in Belfast during the height of The Troubles. It also spawned the sister label that discovered The Undertones and felly northern spiky hairs like The Outcasts, Protex, Rudi and Xdreamysts.
