The station will go off air entirely later this year.
Dublin based radio station TXFM have announced they are cutting back on their programming. The changes will come in to effect from July 4.
The station announced in March that it was to go off in October 26 this year. The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland confirmed that the station had not put in a renewal for their broadcasting licence. As it failed to do this it will no longer be allowed to legally continue broadcasting after October 26.
The new cut down schedule will see just ten shows remain on air for their last four months. Weekday programming remains the same up until the end of the TX Drive show with Joe Donnelly at 7pm. An automatic overnight playlist will then begin for 12 hours. Parklife will be the last show live on Saturdays, finishing at 6pm while John Cadell's Revolver will end at 9pm on Sundays.
