A swift follow-up to Benji.
One of the hardest working men in indie these days, Mark Kozelek has been putting out at least one record a year for the past several, either under his own name or his beloved Sun Kil Moon banner. The latter released the universally adored Benji just last year, but even when he was promoting that he was promising another would be along very shortly.
It comes to pass this summer – Universal Themes is the name and May 29 is the date. Here's the track listing:
1. 'The Possum'
2. 'Birds of Flims'
3. 'With a Sort of Grace I Walked to the Bathroom to Cry'
4.'Garden of Lavender'
5. 'Cry Me a River Williamsburg Sleeve Tattoo Blues'
6. 'Ali/Spinks 2'
7. 'Little Rascals'
8. 'This Is My First Day and I'm Indian and I Work at a Gas Station'
