The 1998 original trio are recording their comeback album.
Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy formed the Sugababes back in 1998.
The band saw several different formations throughout their years in the business with frontwoman Keisha being the longest remaining band member. In their time they enjoyed considerable success with the like of 'Push The Button', 'Round Round' and 'Freak Like Me'. The last we've seen of Sugababes is 2013's single 'Flatline' but Sugababes fans are in for a treat in 2017. They're now bringing it back to basics with the original girls. Siobhan Donaghy was the first to leave the Sugababes but she's confirmed over the weekend that they are returning with new music.
Chatting to Wandsworth Radio she confirmed the news; "Sugababes have got a record coming out next year. I can’t tell you the exact date. I know, but I can’t tell you. It’s next year.”
Now, how's this for a knock of nostalgia?
