Kilkenny will be a sea of green and gold this St. Patrick’s day when top Irish acts descend upon the Marble City.
Post-parade entertainment will commence with singer-songwriter Ryan Sheridan taking to the festival stage. Accompanied by Ronan Nolan, the talented duo will play a free show close to Kilkenny Castle from 3pm. Street performers will offer a feast for the senses with special guests including Foxy P.Cox and friends, the Fanzine Brothers and the Mountebonks who will be showcasing their theatrical delights to eager audiences.
As the fun and games of the day draw to a close, Langton’s will host one of Ireland's top bands, Keywest. The multi-platinum selling foursome will unveil material from their new album, which will be released ahead of their sold out Olympia Theatre show on March 31st. Fresh from County To Country Festival in the O2 Arena last weekend where they were accompanied on stage by The Saturday's Una McFadden, the guys are eager to get back to the Medieval city having sold out Set Theatre last year.
"Kilkenny is definitely one of our favourite spots to play, there's always a massive buzz with the audience and it's a great city. We're really excited to have Beat 102-103 kicking off the evening with a live DJ set too" says front man Andy Kav.
