Three songs and some sparkling conversation from the hotly-tipped Dublin rockers...
The latest round of the Hot Press Sessions saw The Workman's Club take on all too literal theme when Spies sat down in front of the HP camera and were forced to contend with some banging and clattering from some overzealous workmen nearby.
Nonetheless, the band (well four of them, anyway) pressed on admirably, talking their reaction to being included in the Hot Press 50 Irish Acts You Have To Hear list, future plans, why they're not too fond of the Joy Division comparisons and offering some particularly choice words for another act to make that hallowed top 50 list; Girl Band.
That out of the way, Spies went all acoustic and performed three highly impressive tracks, which you can watch below.
