Snow Patrol give their A Hundred Million Suns album the official launch treatment with a whistle-stop concert tour of four capital cities – Dublin, Belfast, Edinburgh and London.
Snow Patrol's whistle-stop promo jaunt takes in four cities in two days, with the band stopping by Dublin, Belfast, Edinburgh and London on October 26 and 27.
The respective Irish venues are the Gate Theatre and the Empire Music Hall, which will both be filled with Snow Patrol mailing-list members who should log on now to the band’s website for details of the lottery draw for tickets.
Each lucky ticket holder will also get an exclusive free live CD containing highlights of the show they’ve attended.
The entrance lobbies of the venues will be decorated with drawings by pupils from local schools, who’ve been asked to supply a representation of A Hundred Million Suns in the form of a painting, colouring or collage. In return, Snow Patrol are making a donation to each school’s art department.
We’ll have more – much more – on Snow Patrol in a forthcoming issue.
