The singer bemoans "idiots" complaining about her cancelled shows.
Forced to cancel shows due to doctor's orders regarding her voice, Sinead O'Connor turned internet warrior once more on December 31 to combat criticism from fans.
"For idiots moaning about cancelled shows," she wrote, ".. I WAS ORDERED BY MY DOCTOR MARK RAFFERTY NOT TO SING because I had ACUTE LARYNGITIS .. And warned severely by him that if I sang before one month I would PERMANENTLY LOSE MY VOICE. So take it up with the doctor and fuck off my Facebook page. I'm not permanently losing my voice for anyone. Whoever bought a ticket is entitled to a refund from the promoter . GFYS"
The shows in question were part of the last leg of her 2013 American Kindness tour.
Sinead went on to say that she was "entitled to speak honestly" on her own Facebook. She went on to clarify:
"Those I told to fuck off my Facebook page are those who are abusing me for cancelling shows upon doctors orders under threat if permanently losing my voice. Those people are not fans. I have therefore not told my fans to fuck off. Because fans actually get it and don't abuse artists for protecting their voices . I have merely told the wankers to fuck off."

She went on to post several more explanations on New Year's Eve, concluding with: "In short .. Gee-baggery will no longer be tolerated on MY FB page …"
In other Sinead news, over the festive period she demoed the title track from her forthcoming album. Expect new material this year.
