Ryan Adams fans will be treated to four seperate releases before the year is out
Ryan Adams will be playing an upcoming show at the Olympia on November 16.
Adams, who would appear to have been holed up in a studio of late, is also set to unleash a wealth of new music upon fans. His full-length studio album, Rock ‘n’ Roll will be released on November 3 as the official follow-up to his 2001 release, Gold.
Hitting shelves the same day will be the first installment of the Love Is Hell sessions, which will be released as two EPs rather than a complete album. The reconfiguration follows a dispute between Adams and his record company, Lost Highway, who described the new material as ‘incredibly too depressing’ and ‘dark’. The EPs will each comprise about six to eight new tracks, with Love Is Hell Part 2 scheduled for a December 9 release.

Also due to hit shelves before Christmas is a CD box set containing some of Adams’ previously unreleased material. It will feature music produced by Scott Litt and Michael Blair, as well as two albums from Adams’ side project The Pinkhearts - 48 hours and The Suicide Handbook.
Tickets for the Olympia show go on sale Thursday October 23 from 9 am through Ticketmaster outlets.
