First wave of acts announced for Dun Laoghaire's Beatyard festival

Rusangano Family, Bananarama & Candi Staton are among them

Beatyard, the Dun Laoghaire festival that made quite the impression last year, has announced its first batch of 2017 acts.

Frolicking by the sea on August 5 and 6 will be Rusangano Family, Horse Meat Disco, Bananarama, Toots And The Maytals, Candi Staton and Larry Heard, one of the founding fathers of the Chicago deep house scene who’s perhaps better-known as Mr. Fingers.
