The traumatic incident which happened November of last year has finally been put to rest as the burgler, Charaf Elmoudden, is found guilty.
Elmoudden broke into Rita Ora's home in the middle of the night and stole over £200,000 worth of belongings.
Jewellery, an iPhone and bags were among the items Elmoudden took from the 'RIP' hitmaker's home. Ora and her sister, Elena, were upstairs in the house at the time. Elena was awoken by the shuffling in her bedroom and alerted Rita who then made a very distressed call to 999. "Oh my God I don't have a knife, I know they're going to come upstairs," Rita pleaded during the call. Ora testified in court behind a curtain and today, Elmoudden was found guilty by 10 out of 12 jurors at London's Harrow Crown Court.
Elmoudden, who is a known criminal, targeted Ora's house as he knew she lived there. He was previously convicted for trying to sell pictures of the body of a dead Harry Potter actor. Elmoudden now awaits his sentencing for the burglary.
