Elsewhere, Take That's Progress suffers a big fall
Rihanna's reign as the premiere pop artist in the UK charts continues this week - the Barbadian singer's Loud is at No. 1 once again. She fends off competition from Plan B's The Defamation Of Strickland Banks which holds on to the second spot. He's been doing fantastic business since his transformation from shouty rapper to smooth soul singer. Cee Lo Green and Rumer continue to climb - they are now at No. 3 and No. 4 respectively. Popular folk combo Mumford & Sons round off the top five once more.
Adele's three-year-old debut album climbs significantly from No. 20 to No. 6. Her second album 21 is due out at the end of the month and is likely to do similarly well. It's also supposed to be fantastic.
Having ruled the festive season, Take That's Progress appears to be running out of steam. It drops from No. 3 to No. 10.
