Rihanna is set to be sued in the Irish High Court by her former head of security Geoffrey Keating. Keating, who has an address in Finglas, is claiming that he was defamed by the Bajan pop star in an email she sent last July.
He claims the series of allegations it contained were untrue and have injured both his reputation and business. The email was sent to Keating and his wife.
He is seeking damages, as well as a published correction, and secured permission from Mr Justice Michael Peart in the High Court today to serve notice to Rihanna (real name Robyn Fenty) at her New York address.
Keating was Rihanna's head of security when she toured between October 2012 and July '13.
