Rex Orange County - the rising indie-pop starlet and Tyler, The Creator collaborator - has been confirmed for a headline Irish show.
Real name Alexander O'Connor, Rex Orange County last performed a headline show in Ireland just over a year ago when he played The Academy's Green Room.
An attendee of BRIT School - whose alumni list includes Adele and King Krule - O'Connor started there as a drummer. He now plays a wide range of instruments in addition to drums: guitar, bass, piano, as well as self-producing his own projects.
Bcos U Will Never B Free was the debut self-produced full-length album released by Rex Orange County in 2016 on SoundCloud. In 2017, he released his second album Apricot Princess.
Three months after the release of his second album, Rex Orange County was featured in Tyler, the Creator’s album Flower Boy doing vocals and writing in songs 'Boredom' and 'Foreword'.
