Just when we were sure it was Ellie Goulding...
Ellie Goulding seemed set to be the one following in the footsteps of Adele by recording the theme for Spectre, but today critical rock darlings Radiohead have become firm favourites to be the ones delivering the new James Bond song.
As unlikely as it seems (though they did do a mean cover of 'Nobody Does It Better' in the '90s), William Hill feel so confident the Oxford act will be behind the track that they have suspended betting. It follows a Middlesex punter attempting to place a £15,000 bet on the band.
The act has already been decided, with Spectre director Sam Mendes recently confirming that the tune is already recorded and is soon to be announced.
Our money (not that William Hill will take it) is still on Goulding, considering this week she dropped a Live And Let Die reference on Twitter and Instagrammed herself leaving Abbey Road studios, where the tune is normally done, with the words "that's a wrap."
Our heart says we're in for a esoteric, icy Kid A masterpiece though...
