Three-stage club will keep the entertainment going long into the night
With the clock ticking down to this year's renewal of Sligo Live, organisers have confirmed details of a Festival Club that will keep western revellers rocking into the wee hours.
Local hip-hoppers This Side Up and HP faves Rackhouse Pilfer (pictured) are among the acts set to hit the stage at the Riverside Hotel, where three stages will ensure the party doesn't end early.
The main stage line-up is strong enough to stand on its own - Friday night is headlined by The Whileaways and bluesy songwriter Miles Graham; Saturday sees things go very local indeed, with Indians joining the aforementioned This Side Up; while Sunday sees Rackhouse Pilfer joined on the line-up by folksters Jawbone.
That, though, will also be complemented by the Acoustic Stage and the Trad Session bar; while the names give a little bit of it away, you'll have to keep your ear to the ground to find out which of the festival's artists will be doing their thing there across the weekend.
With Rufus Wainwright, Jools Holland, The Waterboys and Ralph McTell among the star turns of the weekend, the Bank Holiday weekend is shaping up to be an absolute cracker.
