Fan footage of a R. Kelly performance at Chicago's Chosen Few DJs Picnic has revealed what the veteran singer has in store for his next album.

"I want y'all to know a secret. I'm working on a house album right now, and I want y'all to know, it's coming," he told his hometown crowd. "And y'all know, I love music and I feel like I can do anything when it comes to music because I am music just like y'all."

Kelly said nothing else on the subject, but if he delves into the roots of the Chicago house scene as opposed to going the Flo Rida route, this could be an interesting concept.
