He's rubbing digital shoulders with Megadeth on the PledgeMusic front page.
Fresh from playing the National Concert Hall earlier this week, Pierce Turner's attentions are now on his next album, which has Swedish composer Hans Engstrom handling production duties.
The Wexford-bred, Manhattan-based artist is going the PledgeMusic route once again, and it seems we will have that album sooner rather than later.
After launching the campaign on Tuesday, he has now reached a remarkable 43% of his goal. It means the project is moving fast to the top of the Pledge frontage, alongside metal legends Megadeth.
Pierce says: "It's a bit of a very pleasant surprise: last time we took a few weeks to get this far, and it was a smaller goal. The support is so heartening..."
To show your support and get the album over the line, click HERE and pledge as little as 10 dollars for a download along with some other great incentives.
Turner next plays the Wexford Arts Centre on June 5. Here's hoping he has further cause to celebrate at his hometown show.
