Developed by Hot Press in conjunction with Philomena Lynott and the Roisin Dubh Trust, this special initiative has officially reached it's target.
With the campaign fully funded you can now pre-order your copy of "Philip Lynott: Still In Love With You – The Life and Music of Ireland’s Legendary Rock Icon".
The Philip Lynott Exhibition, which ran in Dublin and London a few years ago, was a powerful, emotional statement about Philo and his music - but also about the trials and triumphs of a working musician - who ultimately became a huge global star. Hot Press is now turning Phil's story into a once-in-lifetime book - and fans who pledge for the De Luxe Large Format book can have their names immortalised as part of the Executive Production team. The campaign also includes extraordinary, unrepeatable offers on subscriptions to the tablet edition of Hot Press.
"This is fantastic news," said Niall Stokes, editor of Hot Press, who are creating the new book. "The fans all over the world have been brilliant, reflecting the fact that there is a huge amount of love and respect out there for Philip Lynott and for the music of Thin Lizzy. We were always confident that we'd hit the target – but it is hugely gratifying all the same, to see just how much Philip Lynott means to people."
The campaign was supported by fans in 47 different countries, with a number of the large format books being destined for places as far afield as Japan, Canada, Sweden and Australia.
"I always knew the fans would support the memory of Philip in helping up to create this wonderful book," Philomena Lynott said. "It truly is a source of joy to me that they love him so much. Now hopefully everyone will continue to pledge, because we want as many people as possible to share in this great adventure."

"We want to say a big thanks to the fans," Niall Stokes added, "and also to all of the musicians and artists, who have given their support to the campaign – which demonstrates just how much respect there is for Philip among his peers – and indeed among those that came after him, especially in Ireland."
Among those who supported the campaign with pledges are Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol, Adam Clayton of U2, Christy Moore, Joe Elliot of Def Leppard, Glen Hansard, Steve Wall, songwriting superstar Brendan Graham, Luan Parle, Mikey Graham, R.S.A.G., David Geraghty of Bell X1 among others, as well as RTE broadcaster Joe Duffy. These were joined today by judge of The Voice of Ireland, Bressie, who became the latest to pledge for a De Luxe Super Book.
The project was also strongly supported by the current Thin Lizzy line-up and by Black Star Riders, the Lizzy offshoot group, which features Lizzy guitar-slinger Scott Gorham, as well as Irish vocalist Ricky Warwick.
Fans can continue to make pledges to secure their piece of Rock History by pre-ordering one of the books or some of the other exclusive merchandise. To make a pledge, go to PledgeMusic.
