The drummer talks solo albums, Spotify, birthdays and more.
"Landmark birthdays make you focus on what you've done and what you want to do. I had an awareness of 'wow, I've had this at the back of my mind-- it's now or never.'"
So says Selway of his songwriting career taking shape as his 40th birthday approached. His second solo album Weatherhouse is out now.
Both of Selway's solo records are available via Spotify, but the musician tells us not all of Radiohead is keen on the music streaming service.
"Thom and Nigel have been very present in the debate. I like the platform of Spotify. I listen to a lot more music through it," he says.

What the band can agree on is a seat of their pants approach to the music industry. Selway discusses Radiohead's transition from Kid A to In Rainbows, and reactions to the latter in comparison with U2.
