Dublin calls for the icon this November
Fans of New Order and Joy Division are in for a serious treat this November, as Peter Hook & The Light head for Dublin.
Performing the Order's albums Low-life and Brotherhood - from which the likes of 'Bizarre Love Triangle' and 'The Perfect Kiss were yielded - and even supporting themselves with a set of Joy Division classics, it promises to be an incredible night for anyone who's followed the Wombats example and danced ironically to some of Manchester's finest.
Tickets for the November 27 show, priced at €23.50, go on sale Thursday.
The previous night in Limerick, the slate is reversed (we think there's a new order joke to be made, but we're going to leave it) as a pair of seminal Joy Division albums, Unknown Pleasures and Closer, get a full airing, on a night which opens with a New Order curtain-raiser. That show takes place as part of a massive two-day symposium on Ian Curtis and Co.
