Due to illness the band must postpone their Irish dates
Peter Hook & The Light were supposed to play in The Academy this Friday, but unfortunately they have to cancel the gig due to a band illness. In a statement on Twitter and their Facebook page they apologise for the inconvenience but the situation is unavoidable. They hope to reschedule their shows for 2016.
The Joy Division bass player was on tour to play New Order’s third and fourth albums, Low Life and Brotherhood, along with a mix from Joy Division classics Unknown Pleasures and Closer.
Current tickets will be valid for the rescheduled shows but ticket holders can apply for refunds from Ticketmaster.
Sad to say that we must postpone this week's dates in Limerick, Dublin & Belfast due to a band illness. More info: https://t.co/vBnV1H5Mn9
