Following in the footsteps of the likes of Toby Keith and Taylor Swift, Pete Kennedy has just scooped the UK Album Of The Year gong at the 2012 British Country Music Awards.
Hailing from Birr, County Offaly, Kennedy has been gaining plenty of plaudits and popularity over the last couple of year's on the country music scene and has now hit new heights with The Nashville Sessions Volume 1.
Of being honoured for that work, Pete said: “To be awarded for doing what I love is a dream come true. My fellow nominees all have great albums as well and I was truly humbled to have taken home the award.”
Today, Kennedy travels to Nashville to shoot the video for the BCM Song Of The Year nominated 'I Am The One'.
