'That Dangerous Age' is our first taste from Sonik Kicks.
He may be snugly into his fifties, but it's very much business as usual for Paul Weller these days. It's been a very busy start to the year – he welcomed twin sons (John paul and Bowie, naturally) into the world in January and now unveils his new musical baby, the first single to be taken from the forthcoming Sonik Kicks, out March 19.
Dealing with middle age frustration, 'That Dangerous Age' is released on March 11.
Of the song, The Modfather says: "Which I found really amusing: the clichéd notion of it. And that was the impetus for (the song) even though it isn’t really about that. It’s a bit tongue in cheek, too. I guess it’s also about how society views people of a certain age. For me, does it really matter what age you are? It’s what up there in your soul that matters."
