Oxegen, EP and Temple House were among the winners at the ceremony, which took place last night in The Netherlands
The European festival award winners of 2010 were announced last night (the opening night of the 25th Anniversary edition of Eurosonic Noorderslag.)
Decided by a combination of public vote and industry juries, Festival Awards Europe recognises the contributions and achievements of event organisers and performing artists who stage and take part in festivals each summer all around Europe.
Irish festivals Oxegen, Electric Picnic and Temple House were among the winners - Oxegen scored Best European Festival line-up, Electric Picnic was voted Best Medium-Sized European Festival, and Temple House won Best New European Festival.

Yourope Lifetime Achievement Award: Leif Skov
Leif Skov, one of the pioneers of Denmark's Roskilde Festival, was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award. On receiving his award, he said: "People and music together can move mountains and change opinions. And through all of our work with our festivals we have invented and defined for the world a new set of values that lie above and beyond a standard set of values that can be measured."
