You’ve got your ticket, bought yourself a tent and picked out a nice pair of wellies. Now all you have to do is actually get to Punchestown. Read on for the definitive guide.
By Bus:
Festival-goers are encouraged to travel by bus if possible. Not only is it the fastest, most hassle-free method of travel, it is also the most environmentally friendly. Travel by fans, crew and bands to and from Oxegen is the single biggest source of carbon emissions from the festival. So by choosing public transport, you’ll be doing your bit to help reduce carbon emissions. On top of that, priority is given to buses to and from the festival site, helping you to beat the queues.
Dublin Bus:
Dublin Bus operates a special return shuttle service from Parnell Square West, Dublin 1. Return bus transfer is €20.
From Dublin: Buses depart Dublin every 20 minutes from Parnell Square at these times: Thursday July 9 – 12noon until 8pm, Friday July 10 – 12noon until 8pm, Saturday July 11 – 10am until 8pm, Sunday July 12 – 12noon until 4pm
From Punchestown: Buses depart Oxegen immediately after arena curfew each night of the festival and from 6am on Monday morning.
