Dance legends Orbital have confirmed a second live show at Tripod this November.
"The demand for tickets has been huge," a spokesperson for POD Concerts told Hot Press, "and so we've had to put in another show."
Already slated for an appearance at the venue on Friday 13th (lucky for some!), in what will be their first indoor Irish show since 2001, the pioneering techno duo will now give an additional 2-hour performance on Saturday 14th November.
Before bowing out four years ago, Orbital released a string of addictive, eclectic singles between 1989 and 2004 including 'Chime', 'Style', 'Belfast', 'The Box and Satan'.
During their seven-album career they also worked with an impressively diverse range of collaborators including electro-folk siren Alison Goldfrapp, soundtrack maestro Angelo Badalamenti and Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammet.

Orbital were among the headliners – and as it turned out the highlights – of the Electric Picnic this year.
Orbital’s live comeback will coincide with the 20th anniversary of their debut rave single 'Chime', which cracked the top 20 selling singles at the time.
Tickets go on sale this Friday 9th October at 9am, with tickets at €49.50 and €42.50.
