Oasis are still Derry-bound despite their car accident Stateside earlier this week
An Oasis spokesperson says they "see no reason" why the band's September 7 visit to Derry shouldn't go ahead.
This follows Tuesday's car crash in Indianapolis which left Noel Gallagher, guitarist Andy Bell and keyboard-player Jay Darlington requiring hospital treatment.
"They did have to cancel a couple of shows," the spokesperson continues, "but all appears to be going well on the recovery front."
The trio were en route to a guitar shop when the taxi they were travelling ran head-on into another vehicle.
"It was absolutely nuts," Darlington revealed after being treated for shock and bruising. "There was smoke in the car and the first thing we thought was, 'Fuck, we have to get out. It could explode or something.' "Noel was the worst off. He got bruised from the seat belt and bashed his nose."

Gallagher – who was sitting in the front passenger seat – was at first said to be suffering from shock and bruised, but doctors later revealed that his injuries were, "More chronic than originally thought. "
Reads an official statement: "The Indiana University School of Medicine doctor prescribed further painkilling drugs and ordered complete rest for three days to lay the basis for as quick and complete a recovery as possible, and to prevent any long term or permanent effects from the accident."
Wonderland Promotions are also confident that the recent Hot Press cover stars will make it to the Prehan Playing Fields.
"We're looking forward to what promises to be another great Derry night out," they say. "Ocean Colour Scene have been confirmed as the main support, with Oasis also picking another band who may very well be local."
