Ray Winstone stars in the video for album take 'Jubilee Street'...
Hotpress.com is delighted to bring you this peak at the very saucy new Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds video for ‘Jubilee Street’, which lasted precisely 32 minutes yesterday afternoon before the sensitive souls at YouTube took it down for breaching their terms and conditions.
Now back up with a content warning, it was shot before Christmas in London’s East End and stars Ray Winstone. The man behind the camera is fellow Aussie John Hillcoat who’s loads of previous with The Bad Seeds, Depeche Mode and INXS. We have to say it looks fab.
“It was a real pleasure hanging around the set and watching Ray do his thing,” Nick enthuses. “He is a master. What a great actor. And of course, working with my friend and collaborator John Hillcoat is always a blast.”

As Caveophiles will know, Winstone previously appeared in his and Hillcoat’s 2005 kangaroo western, The Proposition.
‘Jubilee Street’ is taken from the chaps’ new Push The Sky Away album, which gets its live debut on Sunday at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London, string section and choir included. We’ve bullied our Ms. Dwyer into attending, so expect a full review and backstage gossip next Monday.
