The promotional casualties of the Big Snow continue to mount, as a decision is taken to cancel all activities in the National Concert Hall till after the weekend
The National Concert Hall has issued a statement confirming that concerts and music classes scheduled to take place this weekend – Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th March inclusive – have now been cancelled.
"This is due to the severe weather conditions impacting on travel and rehearsal schedules for musicians,” a spokesperson says. "It is hoped that some concerts as part of New Music Dublin may be rescheduled for a later date."
The statement confirms that the National Concert Hall building will remain closed "during this time" and will reopen for business as usual, on Monday 5th March.

• ‘Mini Music' classes, Saturday 3rd March
• Concerts and events scheduled as part of New Music Dublin (3rd and 4th of March)
"The National Concert Hall wish to advise all customers that tickets will be refunded in the coming days,” the statement states. "We wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused."
