The Irish model and aspiring singer treated for concussion after her car flipped six times.
A real scare for Nadia Forde (and her family and friends) over the weekend as the model was involved in a car crash whilst travelling on the M40 in Warwickshire.
The model and singer was travelling in her Fiat 500 on her way to meet friends in Manchester on Sunday morning when bad weather caused her to lose control of the car. The car skidded, flipped a number of times and ended up in the central reservation.
Forde was treated for concussion at the scene and spent the night in Warwick hospital before getting the all-clear. No one else was involved in the accident.
In a recent Hot Press interview, Forde, who is currently launching her music career, told Roe McDermott: "I really wanted to prove that I could be involved in writing songs because they just wanted me to sing other people’s music. That's fine when you love the songs, but there’s a distance there that doesn’t feel genuine. It’s different if you’re in a band and you’ve the same vision about your music, but if you’re trying to be your own person and constantly singing someone else’s lyrics about experiences that aren’t yours, it’s quite odd. I wanted to be my own person, and have an element of control – and also to feel genuinely involved with, and proud of, what I was doing.”
