With a five night Whelan's residency, a new EP and an album that's just gone gold, Mundy is a man in demand
Looking set to steal the limelight from Whelan's 15th birthday celebrations, Mundy has announced two extra dates at the Wexford St. venue. Tickets are now on sale for October 2 and 3, with limited tickets available for September 29 at the time of print. Mundy's gigs on September 30 and October 1 are completely sold out.
Fans can also look forward to the October 8 release of Mundy's new EP, '10, 000 Miles (From Harm)'. Featuring the lead track from his Gold-selling Raining Down Arrows album, the EP also includes an early demo of 'Love And Confusion', plus three previously unheard tracks from his sessions in Texas and France, 'Why Do We Always Fight?', 'Michael O, Michael' and 'Son Of A Gun'. And if that ain't enough Mundy for your money, check out the '10, 000 Miles' video, which sees the Birr chanteur wander through an urban paradise, courtesy of the D.A.D.D.Y. animation maestros.
