They've knocked Blur down into second place this week.
Ditching the tweed and the banjos, Mumfrod & Sons are back with their third album Wilder Mind. Apparently people are finding their new anthemic rock sound very agreeable – the record has debuted at No. 1on the Irish Albums Chart.
It means Blur's comeback LP, The Magic Whip, surrenders its title of biggest-selling album and settles into second. The London quarter are set to headline Electric Picnic at the end of the summer.
Hozier holds firm at No. 3, while Taylor Swift's 1989 climbs to spaces to No. 4.

Smokie announced their plans to play the Cork Opera House on May 15 this week and it's inspired people to check out their recorded work – their Best Of is in at No. 19.
Radiohead's Best Of re-enters at No. 25, while the highest entries for new studio albums are My Morning Jacket's The Waterfall at No. 30 and Django Django's Born Under Saturn at No. 31.
