Jack L and The Coronas also perform strongly
It's all change at the top of the Irish charts this week, with three new entries in the top 6. Topping the list is Michael Bublé, who leaps in to No.1 with his hew album Crazy Love, followed closely by Alexandra Burke, who is at no.2 with Overcome.
The leading Irish newcomer is Jack L, whose Essential Collection: The Story So Far makes an impressive debut at No.6. The other newcomer in the Top 20 is Seasick Steve, whose Man From Another Time is at No.15 in its first week.
Last week's No.1, Shakira's She Wolf, drops to No.8.
It's been a good few weeks for Dara Records, with The Corona's acclaimed Tony Was An Excon now in its fourth week in the Top 10. The Hot Press cover stars are showing the kind of stickability which suggest that they could yet more than emulate the platinum success of their debut album Heroes Or Ghosts. The album is also No.1 in the Irish Indie Top 10, with Heroes Or Ghosts at No.9.
