Maximo Park announce new album and give away a free track
The band have unveiled that their fifth album, Too Much Information, will be released on February 3. In the meantime they have generously given away the album’s second track, 'Brain Cells,’ which can be downloaded for free from the band’s website.
The new album is the indie group’s fifth full-length creation, and is a self-produced follow up to their 2012 LP The National Health.
Frontman Paul Smith, who has previously said that the band would feel they were betraying music if they ever put out a record that they didn’t believe in, claimed in a recent statement: "Our lyrics and our music will never be too-cool-for-school - we are an emotional band even if it might be too much information for some."
