WATCH: Mark Geary in session and conversation

The singer-songwriter was in flying form in The Workman's Club.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 31 May 2012

With a new album – the fragile and beautifully hushed Songs About Love, Songs About Leaving – set for release on June 8 and an Irish tour now underway, Mark Geary found the time to talk and play exclusively for Hot Press.

Settling into the Workman's Club, Dublin, he ran through some new numbers, including lead single 'Get Here', with some very able backing from Grainne Hunt and Graham Hopkins . After that, it was time for a chat, as Geary mused on the importance of silence, how travel has broadened his mind and the current state of the music industry.
