MARILYN MANSON’S WOES continued last week when he was charged with sexually assaulting a bouncer at a gig in Clarkston, Michigan
According to the local newspaper, The God Of Fuck “was performing at the DTE Energy Music Theatre when he allegedly approached 25-year-old security guard Joshua Keasler from behind while rubbing his genital area. After spitting on Keasler’s head, a G-string-clad Manson wrapped his legs around the guard and rubbed his genital area on his head and neck.”
Commenting on the incident, Oakland County prosecutor David G. Gorcyca said: “Manson’s actions far exceed any freedom of expression or artistic licence. His conduct is in no way a choreographed part of the performance. These acts are sexual and physical assaults on an unsuspecting individual whose job was to protect the performers. This disgusting display and conduct cannot go unrecognised.”
Unrepentant as ever, the shock rocker describes the charges as “nothing more than another attempt to run Marilyn Manson into the ground. They’ve done it before and they’re going to keep doing it until the day I die. It comes down to love, hate and corruption, and I thrive on that.”
