Check out the promo to 'Walk Me To The Bridge' and get the full release info...
After returning from their 2011 hiatus, Welsh's finest cerebral rockers Manic Street Preachers promised us not one but two brand new records. The meditative, mature and largely acoustic Rewind The Film arrived last year to plenty of acclaim. Now, they're completing the promise with the release of that second LP.
Entitled Futurology, the 12-tracker is out July 4. As with Rewind The Film, it will be packed with special guests. This time around,we get the likes of Super Furry Animals keyboardist Cian Ciaran, Scritti Politti's Green Gartside and German actor Nina Hoss.
The first taste comes in the form of 'Walk Me To The Bridge'. Its video is directed by Kieran Evans, the BAFTA winner who also supplied the last record's promos.
Last summer, James Dean Bradfield promised Futurology would be the "spikier and shinier" of the two latest, dealing lyrically with Europe. 'Walk Me To The Bridge' gives evidence to that.
