The Canadian musician's third studio album will be out next month.
Featuring all the easy synth and flat drums that have characterised the singer's previous work, DeMarco described 'On The Level' as being a "sister song" to 2014's 'Chamber of Reflection' in a recent interview with Pitchfork.
Musing in the song that "this could be (my) year", DeMarco's voice sounds more akin to Tame Impala's Kevin Parker than ever, and we're loving it.
The visuals feature what appears to be Darth Sidious throwing a slow groove against a trippy blue background, ad infinitum.
Mac DeMarco's new album This Old Dog will be out on May 5. In a statement reflecting on the album, DeMarco said: “This record has a lot to do with my family and my life right now and the way I’m feeling. One of the main goals for this record was trying to make sure I retained some kind of realness. That’s the bottom line.”

The new song follows two tracks he released back in January, 'This Old Dog' and 'My Old Man'.
Mac DeMarco will play at Vicar Street on November 22.
