There's a fun night planned and an exceptionally great cause to support this Saturday at one of Dublin's most beloved venues
Live at The George is a once off concert for Pieta House this Saturday May 21. The event is being run on the anniversary of the 'Yes Vote' in aid of Pieta House and suicide awareness.
One year on from the historic day that changed the country and the changed the mindset of the union, the marriage referendum will be remembered and celebrated for decades to come. Unfortunately the alarmingly high rate of suicide in Ireland, particularly within the LGTB community, is one of the country's most pressing concerns.
The George has taken the spotlight that shines so bright on the anniversary of the marriage referendum to bring support to a cause that deeply effects every family in the country by putting on a live music event with acts like Mundy, Elaine Mai, Patrick James, Kevyn, Kate's Party, Homonics, Laura Keane and Jackal.
The event will be hosted by Minnie Melange and Davina Devine and will run from 3pm until 8pm where we will also be promoting the services available by Pieta House so people in need can avail of them.
