The superstar reveals in a new documentary that she suffers from a serious condition known as fibromyalgia.
Lady Gaga has admitted in the past that she suffers from a chronic illness, but this is the first time that she has actually mentioned that it's fibromyalgia, a rheumatic condition characterized by muscular pain and stiffness.
Taking to social media last night, Lady Gaga wrote: "In our documentary the #chronicillness #chronicpain I deal w/ is #Fibromyalgia I wish to help raise awareness & connect people who have it."
Back in 2016, the singer first hinting at the illness when she wrote on Instagram, "Having a frustrating day with chronic pain, but I find myself feeling so blessed to have such strong intelligent female doctors."

She opens up about the illness in a new documentary entitled '"Five Foot Two' to be aired on the streaming service Netflix.
Lady Gaga has also announced that she plans to take time off for herself after her tour wraps up, but adds that she still plans to focus on making music during her hiatus.
