There will be plenty of Kodaline induced tears after watching the new video for the bands latest track 'High Hopes'.
The video follows an emotive narrative of pain, love, anguish and happiness, as a bride abandons her groom to be with her lover (Irish actor Liam Cunningham from Game Of Thrones), who's about to end his life. They live happily together until a couple of heartbreaking twists at the end. The video is directed by last years Cannes Young Director winner Stevie Russell who also made their 'All I Want' promo.
It's all about the song though. Kodaline live up to their billing as the next Coldplay or Snow Patrol, with all the potential to sell millions of records and fill stadiums evident in 'High Hopes'. Steve Garrigan's vocal swells and soars to an epic back-drop of swirling guitar and crashing piano chords.
Have a listen for yourselves below.
