Knockanstockan to take break next year
This year's festivities kick off in Blessington Lakes shortly – but 2017 will be a year off
After a decade of supporting new and independent Irish music, Knockanstockan will take a break in 2017.
The news comes just days before this year's festivities kick off at Blessington Lakes in Co. Wicklow. Overhead, The Albatross, Raglans and August Wells are among those heading the bill this weekend – but it'll be a long wait if you don't make it along this time!
After ten years on the go, the landmark birthday also represents an ideal time to take a breather, it seems, as the team who work round the clock to put it together take a well earned rest. All the more reason to party harder this time!
