The inaugural Killarney Festival of Music & Food announces eight of Ireland’s finest Michelin Star and celebrity chefs for its Food & Wine Magazine Village.
Derry Clarke (L’Ecrivain, Dublin), Ross Lewis (Chapter One, Dublin) and JP McMahon (EatGalway Restaurant Group, which comprises Aniar, Cava Boedga, and Eat Gastropub), will join Clodagh McKenna (Clodagh’s Kitchen, Dublin), Sunil Ghai (Ananda Restaurant), Noel Enright (The Lake Hotel, Killarney); Paul Treyvaud (Treyvauds, Killarney); Catherine Fulvio (Ballyknocken House) in the Chef’s Kitchen where they will show food lovers how to prepare delicious mouth-watering dishes using locally produced, seasonal ingredients from Kerry.
Food Village Host Norah Casey said of this, “I’m really looking forward to seeing some of Ireland’s gastronomic gurus create delicious dishes using the wonderful variety of produce that Kerry has to offer.”
The Killarney Festival Food Village will showcase the best of wine and food in Ireland, featuring everything from established restaurants to local artisan food producers. The Food Village will also encompass a Wine Bar, a Craft Beer Lounge, a Cocktail Bar, and a variety of food vendors offering cuisine from around the world.
Furthermore, bringing the music this year are legends like Duran Duran, Jools Holland, and Burt Bacharach, along with new favourites Father John Misty, Walking On Cars, and HamsandwicH.
