Kate Nash announces Made of Bricks 10th Anniversary tour date at The Academy

Kate Nash celebrates 10 year anniversary of debut album Made Of Bricks.

Kate Nash has announced the 10 year anniversary of her platinum selling debut album Made Of Bricks. The British singer will be touring the album over the summer including a show at The Academy, Dublin on July 25.

Tickets priced €20 inclusive of booking fee go on sale this Friday, 21st April via www.ticketmaster.ie.

A limited run of original pink Made In Bricks vinyl will be available on the tour.

Like Scroobius Pip, Kate Nash’s none-more-London vocals are open to ridicule, but she has so far proved to be quite the charmer. What is most astonishing is how well her songs (previously lo-fi in the extreme) have translated into big, bold pop tunes. ‘Mouthwash’ is easily the equal of ‘Foundations’, its joyful melody helping obscure the limited subject matter. The speed with which she has been thrust into the glare of the public eye might be a concern, but let’s hope Nash can cope with it all.
