In what must be a great blow for President Trump, Kanye has had all his pro-Trump tweets have been removed from his twitter page. A short while after announcing to a crowd during a rant that though he didn't vote in the election, his vote would have gone to Donald Trump, Kanye was hospitalised with a diagnosis of “temporary psychosis.”
Once he was released from hospital, he took the opportunity to meet with Trump personally at Trump Tower. According to Kanye's twitter, the meeting was to discuss multicultural issues" as well as "bullying, supporting teachers, modernising curriculums and violence in Chicago." Faced with backlash regarding the meeting, Kanye responded, "I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future president if we truly want change."
Seeing as Twitter is President Trump's favourite form of communication, it seems as though the line of communication between Trump and Kanye has been cut for now. There is no specific statement from Kanye about why he has withdrawn his support on Twitter. Sources have said that it may be related to the controversial travel ban on Muslims, but Kanye has been silent, even on Twitter.
