Kanye West unveiled an hour-long remix of The Life of Pablo track 'Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1' this past Friday.
The rapper/producer completely rearranged the track into an orchestral piece that’s almost ambient. His rapping – including the infamous bleached asshole line – is completely removed from the song.
A haunting, woozy interpretation, the track went largely unnoticed, overshadowed by Kanye’s already highly controversial ‘Famous’ video. The remix was debuted alongside the music video at an event in Los Angeles.
DJ duo Dodger Stadium played a forty-minute version of the remix at the event, which can be heard via Soundcloud below.
