We now know the soundtrack to the start of London 2012...
British director Danny Boyle’s official play-list for the Olympic opening ceremony in London has been leaked online.
The 86-track list features the best of British music, with punk royalty Sex Pistols standing shoulder to shoulder with Adele, and the chimes of Big Ben.
Best known for such seminal classics as Trainspotting, penned by Irvine Welsh, and modern favourite Slumdog Millionaire, Boyle has not yet commented on the leak, tweeting instead about other issues of importance such as 3D vs. 2D.
Welsh featured prominently on the front cover of Hot Press in May, where he talked about what drives drug consumption.
