The candid lyricist returns to Ireland for a special television appearance.
American singer-songwriter John Grant will be performing with the RTE Concert Orchestra on The Late Late Show this Friday Jan 29th.
Having played back to back gigs at Vicar Street last year, Grant will now play his biggest Irish concert ever, taking place at the Iveagh Gardens on Saturday 9th July.
He released his third solo album, entitled Grey Tickles, Black Pressure, in 2015. "A record which is funny, frightening, heart breaking and melting all at the same time, Grant’s third opus is full of obtuse funk numbers (‘Voodoo Doll’) and string swept shuffles with lyrics about haemorrhoids and cancer (‘Grey Tickles, Black Pressure’), all tied together by that honeyed croon of his," says Hot Press' Edwin Mcfee.
Grant also had a number of songs from his second solo album, entitled Pale Green Ghosts, in the Panti Bliss film Queen Of Ireland.
